It Takes a Village: A Mother s Day Sound Bath Experience

It Takes a Village is a community-centered Mother’s Day wellness experience created to celebrate and support mothers in Harlem.
Presented by SHE2K and Marcus Meets Malcolm (MMM), the event features a guided sound bath led by Urban Yoga Foundation, a cooldown meditation session, thoughtful wellness takeaways, and a creative station where children can make Mother’s Day gifts. Designed with real motherhood in mind, the gathering welcomes moms attending with little ones and encourages rest, care, and connection in community.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own mat and blanket.
