Saturday, August 1st, 2026 - NYC Summer Streets Celebrating HARLEM WEEK
109th Street & Park Avenue & 110th – 112th Street & Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd
Enjoy the hottest block party in the nation. A Saturday of non-stop fun on the streets of Harlem! New Yorkers and visitors are invited to come together for the things they love doing, including biking, walking, running, jumping, meditating, skipping, skating, dancing, and enjoying live music!

Thursday, August 6th, 2026 - Harlem Summerstage
Taking place in the heart of Harlem at the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State Office Building, HarlemSummerstage has rapidly become THE place to be on Thursday. Performances range from R&B, Jazz, Latin, Dance and Hip Hop

Friday, August 7th, 2026 – HARLEM SUMMER NIGHTS
Friday night under the arches, food, music, and culture come together to create something New York has been waiting for — a culinary celebration that belongs to the people who make this city taste like itself. The food and culture series that can’t be missed.

Saturday, August 8, 2026 - Percy Sutton Harlem 5K Run & Children’s Run
Sponsored by New York Road Runners, the Percy Sutton Harlem 5K Run attracts runners and walkers from New York, the Tri-state area, nationally, and internationally. According to many runners, this event is second in popularity throughout the city only to the New York City Marathon. Children ages 2 to 18 of all abilities can participate in the Children’s Run and celebrate the vibrant history and culture of Harlem. Click here for more information.

Hazel Dukes Memorial Family Health Walk
The Hazel Dukes Memorial Family Health Walk promotes community health and awareness through physical activity while celebrating and honoring Harlem’s own, the late Dr. Hazel N. Dukes.

Sunday, August 9, 2026: A Great Day in Harlem “A Great Day in Harlem”
The first official outdoor event honoring HARLEM WEEK featuring a full day of live entertainment, food, and fun for the entire family. The four-part evening takes place at the historic Ulysses S. Grant National Memorial, and showcases and celebrates Harlem’s iconic global cultural significance.

Wednesday, August 12, 2026: NYC Jobs & Career Fair
The NYC Jobs & Careers Fair connects job seekers with top employers in tech, healthcare, education, government agencies, and more, offering workshops, networking, and career opportunities.

HARLEM WEEK’s second largest day of events, “Summer in the City” features a full day of activities, including performances from local, national, and international artists, the highly anticipated adult & children’s urban fashion show, health testing stations, hundreds of food vendors, arts & crafts, music, jewelry, hats, sculptors, games, corporate exhibitions and plenty of room for dancing in the street.

Location: 135th St. from St. Nicholas Ave to Malcolm X Blvd
St. Nicholas Ave Main Stage – Live performances featuring talent from various music genres, including headlining acts, local cultural performances, an annual adult and children’s fashion showcase, local presentations, and much more.

NY City Children’s Festival (Day 1) – The Children’s Festival brings two fun-filled days of performances, tech activities, Double Dutch, face-painting, and more to W. 135th St.; designed for kids ages 5 to 12 and their families.

Alex Trebek Harlem Children's “Spelling Bee” - The Alex Trebek Harlem Children’s Spelling Bee sparks young minds with friendly competition, celebrating literacy and learning in a fun, community-driven event that inspires the next generation.

HARLEM WEEK/IMAGENATION Outdoor Film Festival – At the conclusion of Summer in the City, the Outdoor Film Festival provides a free outdoor family-friendly film screening under the stars on the Great Lawn of St. Nicholas Park.

HARLEM WEEK’s biggest day! Featuring three stages of entertainment, the Harlem Health Village, Harlem Broadway Row, performances from Broadway productions, local, national, and international artists of various musical genres, and community and school performances. Plus, hundreds of food vendors, arts & crafts, music, jewelry, hats, sculptors, corporate exhibitors, and games.
