FC HARLEM L.I.O.NS ( Leaders In Our Neighborhoods (formerly Harlem Youth Soccer)
- FC Harlem L.I.O.NS is a recreational league designed to create a safe opportunity for fair and enjoyable play for inner city youth ages 5-16.
- FC Harlem L.I.O.NS provides an opportunity for youth to have fun and fosters a spirit of good sportsmanship for players, parents, and coaches.
- FC Harlem L.I.O.NS teaches youth playing skills and knowledge of soccer, and provides the opportunity for children at all levels of ability to play.
Goals and Values
- FC Harlem L.I.O.NS aims to instill a sense of responsibility to the community within players and their families. The alumni will be good citizens and philanthropists and will want to give back to the neighborhoods in which they live.
FC L.I.O.NS sponsors activities throughout
the year:
- Fall - Recreational league & travel team competition.
- Winter - Indoor training (at the Harlem YMCA). Check our schedule for periodic postings.
- Spring - Travel team competition & training clinics for recreational league participants. Check our schedule for periodic postings.
- Summer - Soccer camp & trips to Major League Soccer games.
- Year Round - Family and community gatherings.
