International House provides housing for Columbia U grad students during the academic year and makes some rooms available to travelers during the summer months. The guest rooms and suites are surprisingly spacious for NYC and are among the best buys in town. The single dorm-style rooms each have sinks and separate male and female bathrooms on each floor. International House is great for exploring Uptown Manhattan, including Hamilton Heights and Harlem. Midtown is easily accessible by nearby subway and bus.
