The Edmund W. Gordon Institute for Advanced Study at Teachers College, Columbia University invites you to a special screening of the documentary THINGS WE IMAGINED on February 17 at 6:00 PM in Cowin Auditorium - please visit https://tinyurl.com/Feb17screen to register.
Directed by Dr. Charles H. F. Davis III, the film explores the experiences and imagined futures of Black college and university professors across the United States through in-depth interviews and moments from academic life on and off campus.
Following the screening, Producer Dr. Candace N. Hall will join Dr. Davis for a moderated discussion led by Dr. Ezekiel Dixon-Roman, Director of The Edmund W. Gordon Institute for Advanced Study.
This event is co-sponsored by Barnard Center for Research on Women, Columbia Center for the Study of Social Difference, the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society Columbia University and the University in/and Crisis working group.
