This year, the 57th Annual African American Day Parade, Inc.© (AADP), occurring on September 20th in Harlem, New York, proudly honors diverse business owners whose leadership, innovation, and services have made a lasting impact on the Black community. Under the theme, "Good Businesses Sustain Our Future", the parade celebrates the vital role Black-owned businesses play in creating opportunity, building wealth, and strengthening our communities. The parade route starts at 111th to 135th Street, stretching up Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard (7th Avenue), from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Leading the parade is the renowned Grambling State University (GSU) Tiger Marching Band from Grambling, Louisiana, and the legendary Federation of Black Cowboys.
Come early, for the Parade-Pre Show 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Location: Elbert & Darlene Shamsid-Deen Reviewing Stand 163 West 125th Street & 7th Avenue, Harlem NY.
