You’re invited to join us as we celebrate two transformative years of Free Friday Nights and Free Second Sundays at the Whitney Museum of American Art on Friday, January 16, 5-10pm.
As part of the Whitney’s free admission offerings, Free Friday Nights has been a strong pillar in making museum attendance more accessible to our neighbors and beyond. The evening celebration will feature a vibrant lineup of experiences from treasured partners, including live music by April Hunt and Dave Guy, a pop-up dance class from Ailey Extension, cake cutting by Frenchette Bakery, a photobooth, specialty cocktails, and more. It will be a joyful night of art, movement, music, and community, and we’d love for you to celebrate it with us. In addition to commemorating two amazing years of free admission and special programming for all, take a final look at the Whitney’s acclaimed fall exhibition, Sixties Surreal, before it closes soon on January 19.
