2014 Hamilton Heights - Sugar Hill Cultural Festival and Artisan Fair, Saturday, June 28th, Noon - 5pm

4th annual Hamilton Heights-Sugar Hill Cultural Festival and “Pinkster” Artisan Street Fair hosted by West Harlem Community Preservation Organization, Harlem One Stop, and community partners and artisans collectively building and contributing to the cultural vibrancy and economic stability of our neighborhood - and the West Harlem community. Scheduled for two consecutive Saturdays in June 6/21 and 6/28, this event is also in partnership with the annual NYC DOT “Weekend Walks”, an initiative to promote healthy, safe recreation, highlight local culture, and create high-quality public space in all five boroughs. It promises to be an exciting, educational, and fun-filled day-long event for residents and visitors of all ages.Come by for our Doggie Fashion Show at 1pm bring your pooch in his/her Saturday best and join the fun! There will also be a Swap Shop for kids' stuff, face painting and the play streets mobile. Morris-Jumel Mansion, Harlem Seeds and Harlem School of the Arts will also offer interactive sessions. And, for the adults -- artisans will showcase some very unique art work, handmade dolls, jewellery, decorative items and body products.
