For a Healthy Harlem

On Saturday, October 26th, chef/owner Marcus Samuelsson of Red Rooster Harlem will participate in For a Healthy Harlem, an event hosted by the Claudio Reyna Foundation and Blue Cross Blue Shield, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the SCAN Johnson Rec Center. (1833 Lexington Ave).The event aims to help fight diabetes among at-risk communities with fitness and nutrition-focused activities. Marcus, an active member of the Harlem community, New York Times bestselling author, judge on Food Network's "Chopped" and mentor on ABC's "The Taste," will demo healthy snack and drink recipes.
