“Praise the Lord, O my soul; for the Lord forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases.” - Psalm 103:3
“The HIV/AIDS Ministry is a body of activists that offer our church as a place of support for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS; recognizing that community awareness, education and activism begins within us as individual vessels through whom information is disseminated to our church body, and ultimately to the community at large. We commit to this service in an effort to provide those in need of information, support, treatment, and prayer in a safe and confidential environment to confront the HIV/AIDS epidemic without judgment.”
Ministry Profile The HIV/AIDS Ministry strives to increase awareness, participation and support for HIV prevention, care and treatment within our community. We motivate the residents and visitors of Harlem through community outreach to get testedand know their HIV status; get educated about the transmission modes of HIV/AIDS; get involved in their local community; and get treated if they are currently living with HIV or are newly diagnosed. As we raise the community awareness about HIV/AIDS through love and prayer we have discovered that many of those who have encountered our ministry have decided to join and follow the way of Jesus Christ.
