A call for submissions for the 17th annual Women in the Heights is open through January 5, 2026. Artists are invited to submit artworks that explore the many aspects of Shade. Info & submission form https://www.nomaanyc.org/.
NoMAAs current exhibition Sustenance + Survival: Uptown Reflections has 37 northern Manhattan artists on view through January 6th. Gallery hours 6-8pm Tuesday and 1-5pm Saturday at 4140 Broadway & West 176th Street. We invite everyone to the Artists Talk for Sustenance + Survival on Thursday, January 8th from 6-8pm in the gallery.
Join us for NoMAAs Holiday Market at the United Palace on Sunday, December 14th from 12-5pm. Also, that day, 2:30pm ornament making w/ the Hispanic Society; 3:30pm Holiday music on the Plaza; 4:30pmtree lighting w/ CLOTH. Stay for the movie It’s a Wonderful Life at 6pm.w/ the United Palace. The 2026 Uptown Arts Stroll Poster Contest launches Monday, January 5th. Info will be posted on our website. Grand prize winner receives $2,000 and is the Stroll's emblem, second prize gets $1,000, third place $500.
Mark your calendars for the 24th Uptown Arts Stroll opening reception Monday, June 1st from 6:00-8:30pm at the Hispanic Society Museum & Library and the Academy of Arts & Letters with performances by the National Jazz Museum in Harlem!
