Community Board 10 is proud to report that its Comprehensive Preservation Plan was unanimously adopted at the General Board meeting last week (see attached). As you may know, this document was created as a result of community calls to protect the character of our historic village. The Board discussed the serious need to address historic preservation throughout the District, and alas, this plan was developed. The document also serves as a formal request for evaluation to LPC to study the merits and feasibility of what is proposed. Over the coming months, the Board will work closely with residents and elected officials to advance the recommendations made in the plan.
