I Am NYC Identification Card: IDNYC

Get your Free IDNYC at enrollment centers across the city.

You can apply for IDNYC:
if you are a resident of New York City
have proof of identification
are at least 14 years old
regardless of immigration status

IDNYC is accepted identification to:
enter schools and City buildings
access many City services and interact with NYPD
open a banking account
use as your library card
and more!

IDNYC cardholders can receive:
one-year free membersip at more than 30 cultural institutions
discounts at movie theatres
discounts at health and wellness centers
access to Big AppleRx, the City's official prescription discount card program
and more!
